I have tried my level best to source most of the ingredients and link it. If you find anything missing just let me know.
Measuring Cups & Spoons:
I get lots of questions regarding measurements in my baking recipes. Many of you ask "you have written 1 cup flour as 120 grams and 1 cup sugar as 200 grams" why mam?
The answer is "each ingredient weight is different" Flour is lighter in weight and sugar is heavier in weight. So when you measure it in a cup it will weigh different.
This is the measuring cup which i use. If you use this cup you dont have to worry about the weight. You can get 1 cup measurements which is usually 240 ml. You can use that cup in my baking recipes as well.
But these are the basic measurements
- 1 cup = 250 ml
- ½ cup = 125 ml
- ⅓ cup = 80 ml
- ¼ cup = 60 ml
- 1 tbsp = 15 ml
- ½ tbsp = 7.5 ml
- 1 tsp = 5 ml
- ½ tsp = 2.5 ml
This is the page which i use to convert ingredients weights to measures.
