Ingredients
▢
All Purpose Flour / Maida - 1 ⅓ cup
160 grams
▢
Baking Powder - 2 tsp
▢
Salt - ¼ tsp
▢
Egg Whites - 2
▢
Sugar - ¾ cup
150 grams
▢
Butter - ½ cup
100 grams
▢
Milk - ½ cup
120 ml
▢
Vanilla Essence - 1 tsp
▢
Almond Essence - ½ tsp
Instructions

Preheat oven to 170 degree C. Grease a 8 inch round cake pan with oil and dust all over with flour. Coat on all sides and set aside.

Sift flour, salt and baking powder and set aside.
▢
Take egg whites in a bowl and whip it gently. Add ¼ cup of sugar and continue beating till stiff peaks are formed. Set aside.

Take butter, remaining ½ cup of sugar, vanilla and almond essence in a bowl and whisk well.
▢
Add in sifted ingredients and milk and fold gently.
▢
Now add in the beaten egg white in addition and fold gently.
▢
Spoon this into the baking pan and bake for 30 to 35 mins. Remove it from oven and cool it down.
▢
Invert it and decorate as you wish.
▢
Slice and serve.
