Carrot & Potato Poriyal Recipe (Carrot Potato Fry Recipe)

Simple vegetable poriyal which is super easy to make. This taste great with rasam or sambar rice.

Ingredients

  • Potato - 2 peeled and chopped
  • Carrot - 2 chopped
  • Oil - 2 tblsp
  • Mustard Seeds - 1 tsp
  • Urad dal - 1 tsp
  • Chilli Powder - 1 tsp
  • Garam Masala Powder- 1 tsp
  • Salt to taste

Instructions

  • Heat oil in a kadai.
  • Add mustard and urad dal. Let it sizzle.
  • Add in carrot and potatoes and saute for a min.
  • Cover and cook till it is cooked. Now add in chilli powder, salt and garam masala powder and mix well.
  • Serve.
