Veg Puff | Veg Puff Recipe

Delicious veg puff which is made from scratch. This is so good with a cup of tea or coffee. You will love it. Veg puff using frozen puff pastry sheets and homemade puff pastry.

Ingredients

  • Puff pastry
  • 1 Onion sliced
  • 1 tbsp Oil
  • 1 Tomato chopped
  • 2 tsp Ginger Garlic Paste
  • 1 Green chilli chopped
  • 1 carrot chopped
  • 2 potato chopped
  • 1 tsp chilli powder
  • ½ tsp turmeric powder
  • 1 tsp garam masala powder
  • salt

Instructions

  • Heat oil in a pan. Add in onions and season with a touch of salt. Saute for 2 mins or so.
  • Add in green chillies and saute for a min
  • Add ginger garlic paste and mix well.
  • Add in tomatoes and cook for 2 mins or so.
  • Add little turmeric powder and mix well.
  • Add in chopped vegetables and mix well. Pour little water and cover. Cook on low for 10 mins.
  • Add little garam masala powder and chilli powder. Mix well.
  • Take your puff pastry sheets, Roll it into a sheet. Fill this in your puff pastry sheets. Fold and arrange in a baking tray,
  • Brush top with beaten egg. Bake it in a 220 degree C preheated oven for 20 to 25 mins.
  • Remove and cool for 5 mins.
  • Serve.
