Ingredients

Apples
peeled and sliced thinly

All Purpose Flour | Maida (90 grams)

Sugar (100 grams)

Baking Powder

Ground Cinnamon - 1 tsp

Milk (120 ml)

FOR SAUCE

Unsalted Butter

Brown Sugar (150 grams)

Hot Water (180 ml)

Instructions
▢
Preheat Oven to 190 degree C.
▢
Take flour, baking powder, cinnamon, salt in a bowl and mix well.
▢
Add in oil, milk and mix well.
▢
Add in apples and mix well.
▢
Spoon this into a baking pan and spread evenly.
▢
Now mix brown sugar, butter, salt, hot water and vanilla in a jug and mix well.
▢
Now pour this over the apple mixture gently.
▢
Pop this into the oven and bake for 40 mins.
▢
Remove and let it cool for 5 minutes.
▢
Now scoop this into a serving plate and serve with a dollop of icecream.

Notes
All you need is a mixing bowl for this recipe. Dump all ingredients together and mix well.
Don't reduce the brown sugar, it creates a beautiful sauce.
This is best served hot or warm.
Use firm crisp apples.

Store this in fridge covered for upto a week. Whenever you are ready to serve, warm them in microwave for few seconds and serve.
