Vanilla Panna Cotta Recipe | Vanilla Bean Panna Cotta Recipe

Best ever panna cotta is made using milk and cream which adds so much creaminess and best soft set curd texture to your dessert.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup Milk
  • ½ cup Cream
  • 1.5 tsp Gelatin
  • cup Sugar
  • 2 tsp Pure Vanilla extract
  • 2 tbsp Water

Instructions

  • Take water in a small bowl, sprinkle gelatin over the water and let it sit for 5 mins.
  • Now take milk in a sauce pan, sprinkle sugar on top. Bring it to a simmer. Don't let it boil.
  • Now take if off the heat and add in the soaked gelatin and mix till combined.
  • Now add in cream and vanilla bean paste and mix well.
  • Pour it into small mould and place it in fridge overnight
  • To unmould, gently release the sides of the panna cotta using a butter knife.
  • Dip it in warm water for just few2 seconds.
  • Un mould it carefully in serving plate.
  • Serve with berry compote and caramelized nuts.

Notes

  1. Don't over  boil the milk. Just boil it till it starts simmering around the sides.
  2. Bloom gelatin in cold water.
  3. Once you add the cream don't else the fat from milk may separate.
  4. Add more sugar if needed.
  5. Dont use too much gelatin than mentioned, else the panna cotta texture may get changed.
  6. Instead of gelatin you can use agar agar. You can follow this recipe.

SERVING SUGGESTIONS

Serve with any homemade dessert sauces.
