Nannari Syrup Recipe | Nannari Sarbath Recipe

Nannari syrup made using nannari roots has so many herbal benefits for these hot summer days. It is natural coolant and helps to cool the body.

Ingredients

  • Nannari Roots - 1 cup
  • Sugar - 2 cups
  • Water - 4 cups
  • Lemon Juice - 3 tblspn
  • For Juice:
  • Sarbath - 3 to 4 tblspn
  • Lemon Juice to taste
  • Cold Water - as needed

Instructions

  • Take nannari root and bash them and remove the center part.
  • Crush it lightly. Take it in a blender and crush it.
  • Now soak them in cold water overnight.
  • Drain the water and take it in a pot.
  • Add sugar and lemon juice and bring it to a boil. Boil this for 25 to 30 mins till syrupy.
  • Cool this and store it in a air tight bottle.
  • For making juice, take some syrup in a cup, add lemon juice, add cold water and serve.

  • You can store the syrup in fridge for many months.
