Fried Cauliflower | Cauliflower Fry Recipe

Crispy fried cauliflower made two ways. Cauliflower fry makes a delicious snacks for parties with drinks.

Ingredients

Fried Cauliflower

  • Cauliflower - 1 medium size cut into florets
  • Salt to taste
  • Turmeric Powder - 1 tsp
  • Lemon Juice - 1 tblsp
  • Chilli Powder - 1 tsp
  • Bread crumbs - ¼ cup
  • Rice Flour - ¼ cup
  • Baking Powder - ¼ tsp
  • Oil for deep frying

Fried Cauliflower (Spicy Version)

  • Cauliflower / Gobi – 1 large cut into bite size florets
  • Turmeric powder / Manjal podi – 1 tsp
  • Salt to taste
  • For Marination:
  • Cornflour / Corn starch – ½ cup
  • Coriander powder / Malli podi – 1 tblspn
  • Chilli powder – 2 tsp
  • Garam masala powder – 1 tsp
  • Curry leaves -1 spring
  • Salt to taste
  • Coriander leaves / Cilantro – 3 tblspn finely chopped

Instructions

Fried Cauliflower

  • Take cauliflower in a sauce pan, add salt and turmeric powder and boil for 3 mins. Drain it and set aside.
  • Take it in a bowl, add all ingredients except oil and mix well.
  • Deep fry till golden brown.
  • Drain and serve.

Fried Cauliflower (Spicy)

  • Heat water, salt and turmeric in a sauce pan. Bring it to boil. Add cauliflower in it and cook till tender. Drain and allow it to cool down. Transfer it to a bowl.
  • Add all the ingrediants given for marination in that and mix well. Add a splash of water if needed.
  • Drop it in hot oil and fry till golden brown.
  • Drain and serve.
