Ingredients

  • Instant Oats - 1 cup / 90 grams
  • Wheat Flour / Atta - 1 cup / 120 grams
  • Water - 1 ¼ cup / 300 ml
  • Jaggery or Brown Sugar - 1 cup / 180 grams
  • Baking Powder - 1 tsp
  • Baking Soda / Cooking Soda - ½ tsp
  • Cocoa Powder - 3 tblspn
  • Oil - ¼ cup / 60 ml

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 180 degree C. Oil a 20 cm square baking pan and coat it with flour. Set aside.
  • Powder oats coarsely and set aside.
  • Mix flour, oats, baking powder, baking soda and cocoa. Mix well and set aside.
  • Take water, sugar, oil in a bowl and mix well.
  • Add in dry ingredients and mix well.
  • Pour this in baking pan and bake for 25 to 30 mins.
  • Remove it and let it cool for 10 mins. Invert it to a board and let it cool down.
  • Sprinkle top with icing sugar and slice into squares.
  • Serve.
