Oatmeal Jammies Recipe | Oats Jam Cookies Recipe

Oatmeal jammys or Oatmeal jammies is a chewy oatmeal jam cookies which has a chewy cookie with a sticky jam centre baked to perfection. This cookies taste amazing with a cup of milk.

Ingredients

  • Unsalted Soft Butter - ½ cup / 100 grams
  • Brown Sugar - ½ cup packed / 100 grams
  • Vanilla essence - 1 tsp
  • Sugar - 2 tblspn
  • Egg - 1
  • All Purpose Flour / Maida - ¾ cup / 90 grams
  • Baking Soda / Cooking Soda - ½ tsp
  • Cinnamon - ½ tsp
  • Salt - ¼ tsp
  • Rolled Oats or Any Oats - 1 ½ cup / 135 grams
  • Jam as needed

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 180 degree C. Line a baking pan with parchment paper.
  • Take flour, baking soda, cinnamon, salt in a bowl and mix well.
  • Take butter, sugar, brown sugar, vanilla, egg in a bowl and whisk till creamy.
  • Add in flour, oats, white chocolate chips and fold gently.
  • Now use an ice cream scoop to scoop the batter into the pan, make a dent in the centre using your finger, fill it with jam and bake for 12 to 14 mins.
  • Remove it and cool it in the pan for 5 mins.,Then remove to a cooling rack and cool.
  • Store it in an air tight container.
  • Serve.
