Ingredients

  • Poha / Aval - 2 cups
  • Peas - ¾ cup i used frozen
  • Oil - 2 tblspn
  • Mustard Seeds / Kaduku - 1 tsp
  • Cumin Seeds / Jeerakam - 1 tsp
  • Ginger - 1 tsp chopped finely
  • Green Chilli - 1 chopped finely
  • Chilli Powder - 1 tsp
  • Turmeric Powder / Manjal Podi - ½ tsp
  • Salt to taste
  • Sugar - 1 tsp
  • Lemon Juice to taste
  • Coriander leaves a handful finely chopped

Instructions

  • Take poha in a bowl, add water over it. let it sit for 30 sec, then drain it and remove excess water.
  • Now take that in a bowl, sprinkle salt, sugar, lemon juice, chilli powder and turmeric over it and mix well.
  • Heat oil in a pan, add in mustard seeds and cumin seeds and let them sizzle.
  • Add in ginger and green chillies and saute for few sec.
  • Add in peas and mix well.
  • Now add in the poha and stir fry for few mins.
  • Add in lemon juice and coriander leaves.
  • Mix well and serve.
