Ingredients

  • ½ cup Jaggery
  • 4 cm piece Dry Ginger
  • 10 Kandathippili/Long Pepper
  • 2 tbsp Black Pepper
  • 2 tbsp Coriander Seeds
  • 1 tbsp Cumin Seeds
  • 1 tsp Omam / Ajwain / Carom Seeds
  • 1 Cardamom Pods
  • 2 tbsp Gingerly Oil
  • ½ cup Water

Instructions

  • Take all the ingredients except oil and jaggery and water in a pan and roast them lightly, then take them in a blender and powder them.
  • Now take jaggery and water in a pan and melt it down, strain it.
  • Now add this back into the pot and add in the powder. Mix well. Cook this till it gets thick and legiyam like.
  • Add in gingerly oil and mix well.
  • Cool this and store in a air tight container.
  • You can have this a small ball size everyday throughout the diwali season, it will improve your digestion.
