Ingredients
▢
Chicken-250 gm boneless
▢
Orange peel-1 tblspn sliced
▢
Orange juice- ½ cup
▢
Garlic-1 tblspn minced
▢
Ginger-1 tblspn minced
▢
Pepper-1 tsp
▢
Soy sauce-1 tblspn
▢
Vinegar-1 tblspn
▢
Salt to taste
▢
Sugar - 1 tblspn
▢
Cornstarch slurry
1 tsp of cornflour mixed with 3 tbsp of water
▢
Oil for deep frying+1 tbsp oil
▢
Spring onion or coriander leaves for garnishing
▢
For Batter:
▢
All Purpose Flour | Maida- ½ cup
▢
Salt to taste

Pepper-1 tsp
Instructions
▢
Mix the ingredients given for batter with water till it forms a batter. Dip the chicken pieces in this and fry till golden. Set this aside.

Heat oil and fry some garlic and ginger.Add orange zest and fry for 30 sec.
▢
Add in soya sauce, vinegar, orange juice, pepper, salt and sugar to taste.
▢
Add in a cup of water and bring that to boil.
▢
Slowly add in the cornflour slurry and mix well till the sauce thickens.
▢
Add in the fried chicken pieces and toss well.
▢
Garnish with coriander leaves or spring onion and some orange pieces.
▢
Serve hot over a bed of hot rice. ENJOY.
