Ingredients
▢
Chicken Thighs or Chicken Drumsticks - 4 pieces
with skin is best
▢
For Marination:
▢
Onion - 1 large chopped toughly
▢
Ginger - 3 cm piece peeled and chopped
▢
Garlic - 5 cloves
▢
Green Chillies - 2 to 4
▢
Red Chilli Powder - 2 tsp or to taste
▢
Cinnamon powder / Pattai - 1 tsp
▢
Nutmeg Powder / Jathikai - ½ tsp
▢
Clove
Powder / Krambu- ½ tsp
▢
Honey - 2 to 3 tblspn
▢
Oil - 4 tblspn
▢
Lemon Juice - 2 tblspn
▢
Soy Sauce - 1 tblspn
▢
Salt to taste
Instructions
▢
Take all marination ingredients in a blender and make it into a fine puree.
▢
Take your chicken and make slashes all over it.
▢
Pour marination over it and mix well. Leave it to marinate overnight or for 2 to 3 hours.
▢
Preheat oven to 180 degree C.
▢
Line a baking tray with foil or parchment. Place chicken in it and bake for 30 to 45 mins till done.
▢
In the last 1 min, turn the grill on to 250 degree C, and grill this for 1 mins till it gets nice colour over it.
▢
Serve hot.
