Ingredients

  • 1 ½ cup / 150 grams Cornflakes
  • 1 cup / 120 grams All Purpose Flour / Maida
  • ¾ cup / 150 grams Sugar add 1 cup if you want sweet muffins
  • 1 tsp Baking soda-
  • 1 tsp Baking powder
  • ½ or roughly a little more than ¼ cup Ripe Banana
  • ¾ cup / 180 ml / 6 fluid ounces Milk
  • 1 Egg
  • 1 tsp Vanilla
  • ¼ cup / 60 ml / 2 fluid ounces Oil

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 170 Degree C / 350 Degree F.
  • Grease a silicon muffin tray with some oil. If using normal tray, line it with some cupcake cases.
  • Take all dry ingredients in a bowl and mix well. Set this aside for a while.
  • Take wet ingredients in another bowl and mix well.
  • Add the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients and give a good mix.
  • Add in cornflakes and toss well with the batter.
  • Scoop this into muffin cases and fill till ¾ way up.
  • Bake it in preheated oven for 35 to 40 min or till a tooth pick inserted comes out clean.
  • Remove and allow it to cool down.
  • Enjoy with a cup of milk or tea.
