Ingredients

  • 2 cup + more as needed Whole Wheat Flour / Atta
  • ¾ cup Milk
  • ¼ cup Curd / Yogurt
  • Salt to taste
  • 2 tbsp Sugar
  • 1 tsp Baking Powder
  • 1 tbsp + 1 tsp + for deep frying Oil

Instructions

  • In a bowl, take milk, curd, salt, sugar, baking powder and 1 tblspn oil. Mix well so sugar is melted.
  • Add in flour and knead it for 5 mins
  • Add a tsp of oil over it and knead for 1 min more.
  • Cover it wth a bowl and let it rest for 30 mins.
  • Divide it into equal balls. Roll one into little thick roti.
  • Deep fry it on hot oil, press the top with a slotted spoon it will puff up. Flip over and cook on other side as well till golden.
  • Drain and serve with aloo curry.
