Ingredients

  • 2 cups All Purpose Flour 240 grams
  • ½ cup Sugar 100 grams
  • 140 grams Soft Unsalted Butter
  • 2 tsp Vanilla Essence
  • 1 Egg
  • ½ tsp Baking Powder
  • ¼ tsp Salt
  • 1 cup Any Jam of your choice

Instructions

  • Take butter, sugar and vanilla in a bowl and whisk well. Add in egg and whisk well.
  • Add in salt, baking powder and mix well.
  • Add in flour and mix well to form a dough. Now divide it into two portions and wrap it in plastic wrap and chill for 1 hour or so.
  • Now preheat oven to 200 degree C / 400 Degree F. Use nonstick muffin pan or grease lightly normal muffin pan with little oil.
  • Take one portion and roll it out into little thin sheet. Use a cookie cutter to cut out rounds and line it in a small muffin pan.
  • Now use a fork to prick the bottom so it wont puff up.
  • Now spoon some jam in it and bake this for 12 to 14 mins.
  • Remove it and cool it for 5 mins in pan, remove it and cool it completely in wirerack.
  • Serve.
