Ingredients

  • 1 cup grated Khoya / Mawa
  • 3 tbsp Sugar
  • 1 tsp Ghee
  • ½ tsp Cardamom Powder / Yelakai podi
  • 3 tbsp Nuts I used pista, badam, cashews
  • Saffron a pinch
  • 1 tbsp Milk

Instructions

  • Heat ghee in a pan, add in nuts and fry till golden. Remove this and set aside.
  • Soak saffron with some milk for 5 mins and set aside.
  • Now add in the grated khoya and fry this for few sec.
  • Add in sugar and mix well. Keep cooking this till it starts to leave the sides of the pan.
  • Now add in cardamom powder, saffron milk, nuts and give a good mix.
  • Now pour this in a greased pan and smoothen it, sprinkle the top with some nuts.
  • Let it set for a hour.
  • Cut into squares and enjoy.
  • You can store this in fridge for 4 to 7 days.
