Ingredients

  • 1 medium size cut into florets Broccoli
  • ½ tsp Salt
  • ½ tsp Turmeric Powder / Manjal Podi
  • For Fry:
  • 1 tbsp Oil
  • 5 cloves Garlic chopped finely
  • Curry leaves a small handful
  • 2 sliced at an angle Green Chilli
  • 1 medium size sliced thinly Onion
  • 1 tsp or to taste Freshly Ground Black Pepper
  • ½ tsp Turmeric Powder / Manjal Podi
  • Salt to taste

Instructions

  • Bring lots of water to a good boil, add in salt and turmeric powder. Add in broccoli in and cook for 4 to 5 mins till the broccoli is done. Drain and set aside.
  • Heat oil in a pan. Add in garlic, chillies, curry leaves and onions. Saute till light golden.
  • Add in salt and turmeric powder.
  • Toss in the broccoli. Saute till it gets brown.
  • Now add in pepper and toss well.
  • Serve.
