Ingredients

  • 1 cup Sago / Javarisi
  • 2 cup Water
  • 2 cup Pineapples cubed
  • 500 ml Milk (boiled)
  • ½ cup Sugar + ¼ cup
  • Yellow Food Colouring a pinch

Instructions

  • Wash sago well in water. Take it in a pressure cooker. Add 2 cups of water to it, pressure cook for 1 whistle. Turn off the heat and set aside so the pressure releases.
  • Now take 1 cup of pineapple in a blender and make it into a fine puree. Take it in a sauce pan. Add 1 cup of cubed pineapples and boil it for 5 mins. Add ½ cup of sugar and mix well. Cook till it thickens lightly. Add some yellow colour and mix well. Now set aside this mix to cool completely.
  • Boil milk in a sauce pan.
  • Now take sago in a pan, add sugar and mix well. Cook this for a min or so.
  • Add hot milk in this and mix well. Cook till it thickens slightly.
  • Now take it off the heat and cool down completely.
  • Now once the mix is cooled, add the pineapple into the milk and mix well.
  • Chill for few hours and serve.
