Ingredients

  • 4 to 6 Bread Slices
  • 1 tbsp Oil
  • 1.5 cup Spinach chopped finely I used palak
  • ½ cup Sweet Corn I used frozen
  • 1 tsp Butter
  • 2 tsp All Purpose Flour / Maida
  • ½ cup Milk
  • Chilli flakes a pinch
  • Oregano a pinch
  • Salt to taste
  • ½ cup Cheese grated
  • Oil for toasting bread

Instructions

  • Heat oil in a pan, add in corn and spinach, saute well for 5 mins or so.
  • Add in butter and when it starts to melt, add in flour and mix that well with the corn and spinach.
  • Now add in milk and mix with the spinach corn. Toss well.
  • Sprinkle little chilli flakes, oregano and salt. Toss well. Now the filling is done.
  • Take a bread slice, spoon some filling in and spread it out. Now sprinkle some cheese over it and cover with another bread.
  • Oil a grilling plate well.
  • Place it on a heated grill pan and drizzle some oil over it and grill till golden.
  • Remove it and cut into wedges.
  • Serve.
