Ingredients

  • 1 cup Basmati Rice
  • 1 Onions chopped finely
  • 2 Tomato chopped finely
  • 1 Capsicum chopped
  • 1 cup Green Peas I used frozen
  • 1 Green chilli chopped finely
  • 2 tbsp Homemade Pav Bhaji Masala
  • 3 tbsp Homemade Chilli Garlic Paste
  • Salt to taste
  • ½ tsp Sugar
  • 4 tbsp Butter
  • Coriander leaves for garnishing

Instructions

  • Wash basmati rice, soak it for 30 mins. Bring lots of water to boil, add salt to it.
  • Add in rice and cook for 7 to 8 mins till it is done. Drain and set aside. Leave it to cool completely.
  • In a kadai add butter add in chilli garlic paste and cook till oil separates.
  • Add in the Onions,Green chilli, tomatoes and cook till it turns mushy.
  • Add in salt and little sugar and mix well.
  • Now add in the pav bhajji masala and mix well.
  • Add in peas and capsicum stir for 2 min.
  • Add in the cooked rice and mix well until the masala coats each rice.
  • Serve hot with any raita.
