Ingredients

  • 1 cup Samai Arisi / Little Millet Rice
  • 1 cup Urad dal with Skin
  • 10 cloves Garlic peeled
  • ½ tsp Fenugreek Seeds / Methi / Vendayam
  • Salt to taste
  • ½ liter or as needed Boiled Milk
  • 5 cup Water

Instructions

  • Wash rice and dal well. Take it in pressure cooker add all ingredients except milk and pressure cook for 3 whistle.
  • Simmer for 15 mins. Turn off the heat and let the steam go all by itself.
  • Open the cooker and mix well.
  • Add in milk and mix well.
  • Serve warm.
