Ingredients

  • 3 cups chopped finely Purple Cabbage / Cabbage
  • 1 large boiled and peeled Potatoes
  • 1 cup to 1.5 cupBreadcrumbs
  • 1 tsp Oil
  • 1 medium size chopped Onion
  • 1 tsp Ginger Garlic Paste
  • 1 tsp Chilli Powder
  • 1 tsp Garam Masala Powder
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 tsp and for pan frying Oil

Instructions

  • Take potatoes in a bowl, mash it roughly and set aside.
  • Heat little oil in a pan, add in onions, ginger garlic paste and saute for a min.
  • Add in cabbage and salt and mix well. Cook for 3 mins or so.
  • Now add in chilli and garam masala powder and mix well.
  • Pour this to the potatoes and mash well.
  • Add breadcrumbs and mix well.
  • Take small portion from this and roll it into a ball, flatten it and place it in a plate.
  • Put the plate in fridge and chill for 30 mins.
  • Heat oil in a pan, place the tikki and fry till golden on both sides.
  • Drain onto some paper towel and serve.
