Ingredients

  • 200 grams Tofu
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste
  • 3 to 4 tbsp Cornflour
  • 4 to 5 tbsp Oil
  • For Masala:
  • 1 tbsp Oil
  • 2 tbsp Garlic finely chopped
  • 2 tbsp Ginger finely chopped
  • 1 large Onion chopped finely
  • 1 large Capsicum / Bell Pepper chopped finely
  • 2 tsp Soy Sauce
  • 1 tsp Sugar
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste

Instructions

  • Cut tofu into big cubes. Season with salt and pepper. Sprinkle with cornflour and toss well. Heat oil in a pan, drop in tofu and fry till crispy and golden. Drain and set aside.
  • In the same pan, add a tblspn of oil, add in ginger, garlic, onion, capsicum and saute till golden. Add in sugar and mix well..Add in soy sauce and mix well.
  • Now add in the fried tofu and salt and pepper. Toss well.
  • Serve hot with some chopped spring onions.
