Ingredients

  • 12 Bread Slices
  • 1 tbsp Oil
  • 1 tsp Fennel Seeds / Sombu / Saunf
  • 1 large Onions sliced thinly
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 tsp Sugar
  • 2 cups Cabbage sliced thinly
  • 1 large Carrots grated
  • ½ sliced thinly Capsicum
  • 1 tsp Chilli Powder
  • 1 tsp Garam Masala Powder
  • ½ tsp Turmeric Powder / Manjal Podi
  • ½ cup Mayonnaise

Instructions

  • Heat oil in a pan, add in fennel seeds and let them sizzle.
  • Add in onions, salt and sugar and saute till it gets golden.
  • Now add in cabbage, carrots and capsicum and mix well. Cover and cook on low heat till it is cooked.
  • Now add in spice powders and mix well.
  • Remove it to a bowl and let it cool down.
  • Once it is cooled, add in mayo and mix well.
  • Take bread slices and spread this over it evenly. Cover with another slice and cut diagnally.
  • Serve.
