Ingredients

  • 1 tbsp Oil
  • 1 tsp Cumin Seeds / Jeerakam
  • 1.5 cup Thick Curd / Yogurt
  • 1.5 tbsp Besan / Gram Flour / Kadalai Mavu
  • 1.5 cup Water
  • Onion - 1 large chopped finely
  • 2 chopped finely Green Chillies
  • 1 tbsp Ginger Garlic Paste
  • 1 large chopped finely Tomato
  • 2 tsp Chilli Powder
  • 1 tbsp Coriander Powder
  • 1 tsp Turmeric Powder
  • 2 tsp Garam Masala Powder
  • 2 large boiled peeled and cut into small pieces Potatoes
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 tsp Sugar
  • Coriander Leaves a handful finely chopped

Instructions

  • Heat oil in a kadai. Add in cumin and let it sizzle.
  • Add in onions and green chillies and saute till golden brown.
  • Now add in ginger garlic paste and saute for a min.
  • Add in all spice powder, salt and sugar and mix well. Now add in tomatoes and cook till mushy.
  • Now add in boiled cut potatoes and toss well.
  • Now add in the besan yogurt mix and mix well. Add in water as well. Keep mixing and bring it to a boil. Simmer this for 5 to 7 mins.
  • Add in coriander leaves and mix well.
  • Serve with roti..
