Ingredients

  • 1 cup Wheat Flour / Atta
  • ½ cup Roasted Gram Dal / Pori Kadalai
  • 1 cup Sugar
  • 1 tsp Cardamom Powder / Yelakai Podi
  • ½ cup Ghee
  • 3 tbsp Cashew nuts chopped finely

Instructions

  • Heat 2 tbsp in a kadai. Add in cashews and fry till golden. Remove it to a bowl and set aside.
  • Add in wheat flour and fry for few mins till light golden and aromatic.
  • Then add in powdered sugar and porikadalai powder and mix well.
  • Add in the remaining ghee and mix well.
  • Roast it for few more mins till the sugar is little melted and it starts to get little moist and golden brown.
  • Now add in cardamom powder and fried cashews.
  • Mix well and take it off the heat. Allow the mix to cool down.
  • Take a small portion from this and shape it into tight ladoos.
  • Store this in a air tight container and serve.
