Ingredients

  • 1 tbsp Oil
  • 1 tsp Mustard Seeds / Kaduku
  • 1 tsp Cumin Seeds / Jeerakam
  • Curry leaves a sprig
  • Asafoetida / Hing / Kaya podi a pinch
  • 1 large sliced thinly Onion
  • 4 cups Purple Cabbage shredded finely
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 tsp Chilli Powder
  • ½ tsp Turmeric Powder
  • 1 tsp Garam Masala Powder
  • 1 cup Peas frozen

Instructions

  • Heat oil in a pan, add in mustard, cumin, curry leaves and asafoetida.
  • Add in onions and saute till golden.
  • Add in cabbage and mix well. Add in salt and cook for 6 to 7 mins till it is done.
  • Now add in spice powders and mix well. Add in peas and mix well
  • Cook that for few mins.
  • Now serve.
