Ingredients

  • 1 Radish
  • 1 tbsp Coconut Oil
  • 1 tsp Mustard Seeds / Kaduku
  • 1 tsp Urad dal / Ulundu Paruppu
  • ½ tsp Cumin Seeds / Jeerakam
  • 1 tsp Chilli Powder
  • 1 tsp Cumin Powder / Jeera Podi
  • 1 tsp Turmeric Powder / Manjal Podi
  • Salt to taste
  • ½ cup Fresh Coconut grated

Instructions

  • Peel and grate radish. Set aside. Take coconut in a mixer and pulse it few times to get a coarse mix.
  • Heat oil in a kadai. Add in mustard, cumin and urad dal. Saute till golden.
  • Add in grated radish and salt. Saute for 8 to 10 mins till the radish is cooked.
  • Now add in chilli, cumin and turmeric powder. Saute for 2 mins.
  • Add in coconut and toss well. Saute for 2 to 3 mins.
  • Serve.
