Ingredients

  • 1 tbsp Oil + for shallow frying
  • 200 grams Paneer cubed
  • 1 medium Onion chopped finely
  • 1 tbsp Ginger Garlic Paste
  • 1 medium Onion cubed and petals separated
  • ½ medium Bell Pepper / Capsicum cubed
  • 4 Green Chillies cut in a angle
  • 2 sprig Curry Leaves
  • 2 tsp Soy Sauce
  • 1 tsp Vinegar
  • Salt to taste
  • ½ tsp Sugar
  • 2 tsp Pepper
  • For Batter:
  • 3 tbsp Cornstarch
  • 2 tbsp All Purpose Flour
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste
  • Water as needed

Instructions

  • Mix all the ingredients for the batter to a little thick paste. Dip paneer in this batter and fry in oil till golden., Drain and set aside.
  • Heat tblspn of oil in the same pan, add in onions, chillies, curry leaves, salt, sugar and saute till golden.
  • Add in ginger garlic paste and saute for a min.
  • Add in cubed onions and bell pepper and saute for couple of mins.
  • Add in soy sauce, vinegar and mix well.
  • Add in the fried paneer and toss well.
  • Add in cornflour mixed with water and toss well.
  • Add in pepper and mix well.
  • Add in coriander leaves and toss. Serve hot.
