Oven Fried Chicken Recipe with step by step pictures. This is made with Chicken , Bread Crumbs and Spices. Chicken is marinated and coated in breadcrumbs and baked in oven till crispy.

Ingredients

  • 500 grams Chicken (With Bone)
  • 3 cups Breadcrumbs
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1 tbsp Garam Masala Powder
  • 2 Eggs
  • ¼ cup Oil
  • For Marinade:
  • 10 cloves Garlic
  • 2 inch Ginger
  • 6 Green Chilli
  • 3 tbsp Lemon Juice
  • Salt to taste

Instructions

  • Take marinade ingredients in a blender and make into a fine paste. Take that in a bowl, add in chicken pieces and mix well. Cover this with plastic wrap. let this marinade for 3 to 4 hours or overnight in fridge.
  • Now remove it from fridge and let it come to room temparature.
  • Mix garam masala and salt with breadcrumbs in a bowl and set aside.. Beat eggs in a separate bowl and set aside.
  • Take the chicken out of marinade and roll it in breadcrumbs. Now dunk them in egg mixture, roll them again in breadcrumbs and place it in a rack or plate. When you have finished with every piece of chicken, leave to sit for 10 mins.
  • Preheat the oven to 220 Degree C / 440 Degree F.
  • Take a baking tray, pour oil in it, place the tray in oven and let it heat for 10 to 15 mins.
  • When it is hot, place the chicken on the tray and put it back in the oven, lower the oven temparature to 200 degree C / 400 Degree F and cook for 20 mins.
  • Now take the tray from oven and flip the chicken over and cook again for 25 mins.
  • Remove from oven and drain it in paper towel.
  • Serve with ketchup or sweet chilli sauce.
