  • 1 tsp Vanilla Extract
  • ¼ cup Unsalted Butter (50 grams) melted
  • 3 tbsp Chocolate Chips optional

Instructions

  • Place a pressure cooker on stove, place a separator on the bottom of cooker and heat it on high heat. Dont use gasket on the lid, cover it. Heat it for 10 mins or so. Dont use whislte.
  • Brush a baking tin with oil and dust it with flour. Tap off the excess and set aside till use.
  • Now make the batter. Take all the ingredients given in the list except chocolate chips in a mixing bowl. Use a electric beater to mix the batter untill it is smooth.
  • Pour this batter into the tin, sprinkle some chocolate chips on top.
  • Use a pot holder and place the cake tin carefully into the center of pressure cooker.
  • Cover it and simmer the heat. Cook on a low heat for 45 to 50 mins.

Notes

  • You can bake every cake in cooker. But i recommend you not to choose very complicated ones.
  • Dont use Nonstick cooker for this. Since dry heating non stick is not prefered. Use plain aluminium cooker.
  • Dont use gasket for baking cake. If you gasket, the dry heating will cause smell and damage it.
  • Never use whistle in the cooker. Remove it.
  • Dont add water inside the cooker before baking.
  • Place a separator between cooker and cake pan. The cake pan should never touch the bottom of the cooker.
  • Always check a pressure cooker cake often to ensure over baking cake or burning.
  • Always use a cake pan which fits comfortably into the pressure cooker.
  • Preheat the pressure cooker for a good 10 mins on high heat before putting the cake pan in.
  • Use a pot holder to put the cake pan inside the cooker, since the cooker can be too hot.
  • After you place the cake pan inside the cooker, reduce the flame to the lowest, cover it and cook.
  • Cooking time may vary depending on the size of the cake pan and the cake batter.
