Ingredients

  • 100 grams Unsalted Soft Butter
  • 1 cup / 200 grams Sugar
  • 1 tsp Vanilla Essence
  • ¾ cup / 90 grams All Purpose Flour / Maida
  • ¾ cup Cocoa Powder
  • 1 tsp Instant Coffee Powder
  • 3 Eggs
  • ¾ cup chopped Almonds or Walnuts
  • 1 cup Salted Caramel Sauce
  • My 1 Cup Measures 240 ml

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 170 Degree C.
  • Line a square baking tray with parchment paper or wax paper and grease it really well with oil or butter. Set aside.
  • Take flour, cocoa, coffee in a bowl and mix well. Set aside.
  • Take butter, sugar and vanilla in a bowl and beat it till creamy using a blender.
  • Add in one egg at a time and beat till fluffy.
  • Once it is well mixed, add in the flour mix and fold gently.
  • Now pour half of the batter into the pan and spread it evenly.
  • Now pour over caramel sauce and sprinkle chopped almonds over it.
  • Now add the remaining batter and spread it out.
  • Bake this for 25 to 30 mins till it is cooked, insert a toothpick to check whether the cake is done.
  • Now remove it from oven and let it cool completely in the tin.
  • Once it is completely cooled, remove it and cut into squares.
  • Serve with icecream.
