Ingredients

For Dough:

  • 2 cups All Purpose Flour
  • 1 tbsp Sugar
  • 2 tsp Dry Yeast
  • Salt as needed
  • 2 tbsp Oil
  • Warm Water – as needed

For Stuffing:

  • 3 large Onions sliced thinly
  • 4 Eggs
  • 1 tbsp Soy Sauce
  • 1 sprig Curry leaves
  • 1 tsp Chilli Powder
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 tbsp Oil- 1 tblspn

Instructions

  • Start by making the dough. Take warm water in a bowl. Add sugar and yeast in the water and mix well. Let it rest for 5 mins.
  • Now in a large mixing bowl add flour and salt. Pour in the yeast water and mix well. Drizzle some oil and let it rest for 1 hours till it doubles in size. Knock out the air and divide into equal portions. Set this aside.
  • Now make the filling..Heat oil and add onions, curry leaves and mix well Cover and Cook till the onion is slightly brown.
  • Add chilli powder and salt and mix well. Add some soy sauce and toss well. Remove this to a bowl.
  • Take the dough and spread it into rounds. Spoon the onion filling and egg in the centre and fold from all sides.
  • Arrange it in a tray and cover with a cloth and let it rise for 30 mins.
  • Preheat the oven to 200°C / 400°F. Bake it for 25 to 30 mins.
  • After it is baked smear some butter on top and serve.
