Ingredients
▢
Dried Green Peas / Patani Kadalai – 1 cup
▢
Roasted Gram Dal / Pori Kadalai / Pottu Kadalai – ¼ cup
▢
Onion – 1 finely chopped
▢
Whole Pepper – 1 tblspn
▢
Fennel Seeds / Sombu / Saunf – 1 tsp
▢
Cumin Seeds / Jeerakam – 1 tsp
▢
Salt to taste

Oil for Deep frying
Instructions

Soak Dried green peas for 6-8 hours. Drain them and take it in a blender and make into a coarse paste. Transfer this to a bowl.
▢
Now take roasted gram dal, pepper, cumin, fennel seeds in a blender and make into a fine powder.
▢
Add this powder to the peas mixture and mix well. Take small portion and flatten it slightly.
▢
Now fry them in hot oil and serve with tea.
