Ingredients

  • 500 Grams cut into small pieces Chicken not too small
  • 1 cup packed Coriander Leaves
  • 1 cup packed Mint Leaves
  • ½ cup packed Curry leaves
  • 7 to 8 Green Chillies
  • 2 tbsp paste or 4 cm piece Ginger
  • 2 tbsp paste or 10 cloves Garlic
  • ½ cup Thick Unsour Curd / Yogurt
  • 1 tbsp Garam Masala Powder
  • 2 tbsp Lemon Juice
  • ½ cup Rice Flour / Arisi Mavu
  • Oil for Deep frying
  • Salt to taste

Instructions

  • Take coriander, mint, curry leaves, green chillies, ginger, garlic in a blender and puree till smooth.
  • Take this masala in a bowl, add in curd, salt, lemon juice, garam masala powder and mix well.
  • Add in chicken and mix well. Leave this to marinate in fridge for 3 to 4 hours or overnight.
  • Take the chicken out of fridge 1 hour before you fry. Add in rice flour and mix well.
  • Heat oil for deep frying and drop the chicken in and fry on low medium heat for 20 mins. Now increase the heat and fry for 5 mins.
  • Drain and serve.
