Ingredients

Mutton / Lamb chopped into small pieces

Turmeric Powder / Manjal Podi
▢

Chilli Powder

Salt to taste

sprig Curry leaves

medium size Tomato chopped

Coconut Oil

Coriander Leaves for garnishing

For Grinding:
▢

peeled and sliced Shallots / Sambar Onion

Garlic

Cumin Seeds / Jeerakam

Instructions
▢
Take mutton, salt, turmeric powder in a pressure cooker.
▢
Add in 2 cups of water and pressure cook it for 10 whistle, simmer for 10 mins, turn off the heat and let them steam go all by itself.
▢
Open the cooker, Now drain the mutton and stock. You can use the mutton to make thoran.
▢
Take the grinding ingredients in a blender and crush them.
▢
Heat oil in a kadai. Add the ground masala and mix well. Add in tomatoes, curry leaves and saute once.
▢
Add in turmeric, chilli powder and salt. Mix well.
▢
Now pour in the stock and bring it to a boil.
▢
Once it reaches boil, turn off the heat and add coriander leaves.
▢
Serve with rice.
