Ingredients
▢
Cabbage - 3 cups sliced thinly
▢
Green chilli - 1 chopped finely
▢
Ginger Garlic Paste - 1 tblspn
▢
Cumin seeds / Jeerakam - 1 tsp
▢
Fennel Seeds / Sombu / Saunf - 1 tsp
▢
Salt to taste
▢
Chilli powder - 1 tsp or to taste
▢
Turmeric powder - 1 tsp
▢
Gram
Flour - 8 tblspn
▢
Rice flour - 4 tblspn
▢
Baking Soda - 1 tsp
▢
Water as needed
▢
Oil for deep frying
Instructions
▢
Take a bowl add all the ingredients from cabbage to turmeric powder.Mix well with your hands till they are combined.
▢
Add in gram flour and rice flour in it.
▢
Mix well with your hands. Add few splashes of water if needed.
▢
Heat oil for deep frying.
▢
When the oil is hot. drop few spoonful of the batter over the oil. Don't crowd the oil too much.
▢
Cook them on both sides till they are golden.
▢
Drain them on a paper towel.
▢
Serve with ketchup.
