Water - 2.5 cupif using basmati rice, use 2 cup of water
Lemon Juice - 1 tblspn
Coriander leaves / Cilantro for garnishing
Instructions
Take a sauce pan, add ghee to it and heat it up.
Add in the ingredients given from cumin seeds to curry leaves and let it saute for a min.
Now add in the spice powders and mix well.saute for 30 secs.
Add in rice and toss well with the masala and ghee.
Add in peas, salt, sugar and mix well.
Now pour water and bring the whole thing to a boil.
Once it reaches boil. Cover with a tight fitting lid and simmer the stove. Cook for 15 to 20 mins till all the water is absorbed by the rice and the rice is cooked.
Now squeeze some lemon juice over and sprinkle with cilantro.
