Ingredients

For Ginger Syrup:

cup
Fresh Ginger grated
packed
▢

cups
Water
▢

Sugar

For Ginger Ale
Makes one serving

Icecubes

1 to 2
tbsp
or to taste Lemon Juice

Lemon Slices - a couple of pieces
optional
▢
3 to 4
tbsp
or to taste Ginger Syrup

or as needed Soda Water or Cold Water
Instructions

Wash and peel ginger. Grate it using a coarse grater. You will need1 cup of packed grated ginger
▢
Take this in a sauce pan. Add in 2 cups of water. Bring this to a boil. Simmer for mins.

Switch off the flame and let it sit for 30 mins.
▢
Now strain this using a fine strainer.
▢
Pour this back into the sauce pan. Add in sugar and bring it to boil. Mix well so the sugar is dissolved.

Now the ginger syrup is done. Allow this to cool down and store in a clean dry bottle. Keep refrigerated.

Now make ginger ale. Take a glass and add some icecubes in the bottom.
▢
Squeeze in some lemon juice and throw in couple of lemon slices.
▢
Pour some ginger syrup. Fill with soda water, mix well.
▢
Serve cold.
