Ingredients

  • 7 Yam Ordinary
  • Water as needed
  • 3 tbsp Tamarind Pulp Click here for recipe

Instructions

  • Wash yam very well in water. Add them to a sauce pan and cover them with fresh water.
  • Bring them to boil and cook them for 15 to 20 mins till they are cooked and tender.
  • Drain them and peel the skin off.
  • Now add them back into the same pan and cover with fresh water.
  • Add in tamarind pulp and bring that to a boil again. Let it boil for 5 more mins.
  • Now drain them and they are ready to use.
