Ingredients

  • Rice Flour / Arisi Mavu - 1 cup
  • Coconut - ¼ cup
  • Salt to taste
  • Boiling Water as needed
  • Oil for panfrying
  • For Serving:
  • Jaggery / Sarkarai / Vellam
  • Idli Podi

Instructions

  • Mix rice flour, coconut and salt in a mixing bowl.
  • Pour in boiling water and make into a soft dough. Divide the dough into equal portions.
  • Now take a banana leaf or a plastic wrap and oil it slightly. Take one portion of dough and flatten it slightly with your hands.
  • Put this thin roti in a hot tawa and cook for a min on one side. Drizzle some oil and cook on other side too.
  • Serve with Jaggery or Idli Podi.
