Ingredients
  

Version 1 : Broken Glass Jello (strawberry flavour)

  • Strawberry Jelly Packets - 1
  • Hot Water - 1 cup
  • China Grass - 5 grams
  • Milk - 500 ml
  • Sweetened Condensed Milk - 1 cup

Version 2 : Broken Glass Jello (multi jelly)

  • Jelly Crystals - 3 to 4 flavours and colours (I used 3 colours)
  • Gelatin - 30 Grams 
  • Condensed Milk - 400 grams
  • Water - 3 cup for jelly & 1.5 cup for the condensed milk filling
  • Oil a little for greasing moulds

Version 3 : Broken Glass Jello (Mango)

  • China Grass / Agar Agar - 10 grams
  • Water - 1 cup
  • Sugar - ½ cup
  • Mango Puree - 1 cup
  • China Grass / Agar Agar - 10 grams
  • Water - 1 cup
  • Sugar - ½ cup
  • Millk - 2 cups

Instructions
 

Version 1: Broken Glass Jello (Strawberry)

  • Soak china grass in water for 10 mins. Then heat it and cook till china grass is melted.
  • Now take jelly packet in a bowl, add 1 cup hot water and mix well. Pour it into a tray and leave to set in freezer for 30 mins. Now cut it into cubes. Transfer to a tray.
  • Now heat milk in a sauce pan, add condensed milk and bring it to a boil.
  • Add china grass mix and whisk well.
  • Pour this over the tray and leave to set in fridge.
  • Slice and serve.

Version 2: Broken Glass Jello (Multi jelly)

  • Start by making jelly. Heat water till boiling, pour 1 cup of water in each jelly crystal and mix well. Pour this in a tin or tray and chill till set.
  • Now pour ½ cup cold water in gelatin and let it soak for 5 mins. Take this in a saucepan, heat till it is melted. Set aside.
  • Take condensed milk in a bowl. In the condensed milk tin pour 1 cup of water and mix well. Pour this over the condensed milk and mix well. Pour the gelatin mix and mix well.
  • Now remove the jelly from fridge slice it into cubes.
  • Now take a big tray or mould to set the pudding. Grease it well with oil.
  • Put the cubes in the mould. Pour the custard mix over this.
  • Chill this for 2 to 3 hours till it is set.
  • For inverting. Pour hot water in a plate. Dip the mould in the hot water. Invert it and slice and serve.

Version 3 : Broken Glass Jello (Mango)

  • Start by making the mango filling. Take china grass in a saucepan, add water and leave to soak for 10 mins. Now heat this till it comes to boil and cook till china grass melts. Add sugar and whisk till combined.
  • Now add in mango puree and whisk well. Now add this to a container and pop in the freezer for 15 to 20 mins to firm up. Once firm cut it into small cubes and set aside.
  • Meanwhile make the milk layer. Take china grass in a saucepan, add water and leave to soak for 10 mins. Now heat this till it comes to boil and cook till china grass melts. Add sugar and whisk till combined.
  • Now take it off the heat and set aside for 5 mins to cool a little.
  • Now add in milk and whisk well.
  • Now take a setting mould. Add mango jelly in that and pour milk layer on top.
  • Now pop this in fridge and leave to set overnight.
  • Unmould and slice. Serve.
