Ingredients
▢
Raw Rice - 1 cup
▢
Toor Dal - ½ cup
▢
Oil - 2 tblsp
▢
Mustard seeds - 1 tsp
▢
Urad dal - 1 tsp
▢
Asafoetida / Hing / Kaya podi a pinch
▢
Onion - 1 chopped finely
▢
Green Chillies - 2 chopped finely
▢
Salt to taste
▢
Curry leaves a sprig
▢
Salt to taste
▢
Chilli Powder - 1 tsp
▢
Water as needed
Instructions
▢
Take raw rice and toor dal in a blender and powder till fine.
▢
Heat oil in a pan, add in mustard, and all ingredients given and saute for a min.
▢
Add in 1 cup water for 1 cup ground powder.
▢
Bring it to a boil.
▢
Once it boils add in the flour. Mix well using the back of the spoon.
▢
If it is not crumbly add more flour and mix well.
▢
Cook till it gets crumbly.
▢
Cover and simmer for 5 mins.
▢
Serve.
