Ingredients
▢
Ghee - 2 tblsp
▢
Cardamom / Yelakai - 2
▢
Cloves
/ Krambu - 2
▢
Cinnamon / Pattai - 1 piece
▢
Bay Leaf - 1
▢
Onion - 1 sliced thinly
▢
Ginger Garlic Paste - 1 tblsp
▢
Carrot - 1 chopped finely
▢
Beans - 5 chopped
▢
Peas - ¼ cup
▢
Garam Masala Powder - 1 tsp
▢
Pepper Powder - ½ tsp
▢
Salt to taste
▢
Basmati Rice - ½ cup
▢
Water - 1 ¼ cup
Instructions
▢
Heat ghee in a pressure cooker.
▢
Add in whole spices. Add in onions and saute for a min.
▢
Add in ginger garlic paste and mix well.
▢
Add in veggies, salt and spice powders and mix well.
▢
Add in rice and mix well.
▢
Add in water and bring it to a boil.
▢
Cover and pressure cooker for 1 whistle.
▢
Let the steam escape by itself.
▢
Fluff up the rice and serve.
