Ingredients
▢
Rice - 1 ½ cup
▢
Green gram - ¾ cup
▢
Garlic - 10 to 20 cloves peeled
▢
Shallots / Sambar Onion - 10 peeled
▢
Dry Red Chillies - 2
▢
Curry leaves a handful
▢
Black Pepper - 1 tsp
▢
Fenugreek Seeds / Methi / Vendayam - ½ tsp
▢
Coconut - 1 cup
▢
Salt to taste
▢
Water - 5 cups + more
Instructions
▢
Take all ingredients in pressure cooker and cook for 5 whistle.
▢
Take it off the heat add salt and more water and adjust the consistency.
▢
Serve hot with thogayal.
