Instructions
Pallipalayam chicken
▢
Grind the ingredients given to a coarse mixture.
▢
Heat oil and fry curry leaves and dry red chillies.
▢
Add in ground masala and saute for 3 mins.
▢
Add chicken, salt and turmeric and mix well.
▢
Cover and cook on low heat for 25 to 30 mins keep mixing inbetween.
▢
Now let the chicken roast on high heat till it well coloured.
▢
Remove and serve.
Pallipalayam Chicken (with nattu kozhi)
▢
pressure cook country chicken with salt and turmeric and little water for 5 to 6 whistle.
▢
Heat oil in a pan. Add dry chillies, curry leaves, garlic and shallots. Saute for a min
▢
Add in crushed onions, ginger garlic paste, turmeric powder, salt and mix well.
▢
Add in cooked chicken with cooking liquid. Cook till water dries.
▢
Add in coconut, more curry leaves and toss on low to medium heat till the chicken is fried.
▢
Serve.
