Gulkand Phirni Recipe

Delicious creamy gulkand phirni which has tons of rose flavour. It just perfumes through out the phirni and makes it more delicious.

Ingredients

  • Basmati Rice - 1/2 cup
  • Water - 1/2 cup
  • Milk - 3 to 4 cups
  • Sugar - 1/2 cup or to taste
  • Gulkand - 1/2 cup
  • Rose Extract few drops
  • Pink Food Colour few drops

Instructions

  • Take rice in a bowl, soak for 1 to 2 hours. Drain and take it in a blender. Puree till smooth.
  • Take the rice mix in a sauce pan, add milk and cook till rice is completely done.
  • Add sugar and mix well. Take it off the heat and add in gulkand and mix well.
  • Add rose extract and pink food colour. Mix well.
  • Chill this before serving.
