Gur Papdi Recipe - How to Make Jaggery Barfi (Burfi)

Super easy barfi / burfi made with wheat flour and jaggery. These can be made in less than 15 mins. So good and so easy.

  • Wheat Flour - 1 cup
  • Ghee - ¼ cup
  • Jaggery / Gur - ½ cup + 3 tblsp
  • Nuts as needed


  • Heat ghee in a pan, add wheat flour and roast till golden and raw smell leaves. It will take around 10 mins
  • Remove it off the heat and add in jaggery and mix well. Once the jaggery melts, spoon it in a greased pan.
  • Top with nuts.
  • Slice into bars.
  • Serve.
